The Why

My mum is a great cook and a particularly good pastry chef. We've been sharing recipes back and forth as a family for years; typing up, tearing from magazines, photographing - and then texting and emailing the recipes between us.

Then there is (arguably was!) my Mum's "Little Yellow Book". I remember originally because it held the Brownie and the rock cake recipes that my sister and I enjoyed learning to bake as children. We were responsible for most of the smudged butter and flour that cake the pages!

Alas, the binding of the "Little Yello Book" is now starting to unstitch. Recipe Filer is what I wish I'd built ten years earlier, so that these memories were already safely kept Now I' enjoying revisiting them and scannng them in, along with the memories that they hold.
